Description
This is a urethane washer that sits at the base of the power tube. When the bolt returns, it hits this to decelerate. The Blue urethane is prone to abuse and is able to wear and last a long time. Much debate has exited over using this bumper on RT or X styles valve due to the wear factor on part#000796. #000796 is the clear stock Bumper on RT style gun valves. The clear softer material absorbs more energy and does not bounce back as much as the harder blue urethane. The risk of using the harder blue material is in bolt and sear wear. If the "bounce" energy is too great the sear and bolt may not match up and grab properly causing excess wear on one or both components. Be sure to check you bolt and sear for excess wear if using the blue urethane on an RT valve, especially with a level 10 bolt. Those bolts are expensive to replace.
